This targeted procurement seeks qualified local bakeries to provide a high-quality dessert for this significant cultural milestone in the Eastern Cape.
Scope of Works and Specifications
The required cake must meet the following specifications:
- Size: 60cm x 30cm (Horizontal)
- Edible Print: 60cm x 30cm
- Flavour: Vanilla sponge
- Frosting: Butter cream
- Delivery Date: 08 August 2026
- Delivery Address: Mandela Bay Theatre Complex, Corner Kani Ntshona Street, Central, Gqeberha
Mandatory Requirements
To be considered, bidders must comply with the following requirements:
- CSD Registration: Suppliers must be registered on the Central Supplier Database and provide their CSD number (MAAA) .
- SBD Forms: Fully completed and signed SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 must be attached.
- Pricing: Quotations must be VAT inclusive, include delivery costs, and be valid for a period of 90 days.
- Submission: Quotations must be on a company letterhead.
- Payment: No prepayment or upfront payment will be made by MBTC.
Submission Protocols and Validity
Quotations must remain valid for 90 days from the closing date. No prepayment or upfront payments will be made by the complex. All submissions must be emailed directly to the SCM office, accompanied by a valid company letterhead and completed SBD 4 and SBD 6.1 forms.
