Victor Khanye Local Municipality has issued an open tender (T/B&T/01/06/2025/2026) for the appointment of a service provider to supply and deliver diesel, petrol, and related accessories. Scope of Supply and Fleet Operations
The appointed Service Provider will be responsible for the supply and delivery of fuel and related accessories to municipal buildings over a 36-month period.
Key deliverables include:
- Fuel Supply: Unleaded 95 petrol and 50PPM low sulphur diesel (turbo diesel) .
- Equipment Maintenance: Servicing and calibration of digital fuel dispensing pumps.
- Accessories: Replacement of fuel dipsticks on request.
- Compliance: Full adherence to the Petroleum Products Act, Occupational Health & Safety Act, National Environmental Management Act, and Environment Conservation Act.
- Emergency Supply: Ability to deliver fuel within 48 hours of an order being placed.

Spanning exactly 36 months, this long-term agreement guarantees operational continuity. It provides a stable supply chain for essential energy commodities, directly impacting the municipality’s ability to execute its developmental mandate efficiently across the region.

Bidders must demonstrate robust logistical capacity and strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations governing hazardous goods. Submissions must include valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, tax clearance, and relevant petroleum industry wholesale or retail licenses.
