The Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries (DFFE) has issued Request for Quotation RFQ65 AM (26/27) for catering services. This procurement supports capacity-building by supplying meals for 30 participants attending the Personal Mastery Training in Malelane, Mpumalanga.
Scope of Services and Delegate Support
The appointed provider will deliver comprehensive meals and refreshments for the 30 delegates. The mandate requires a professional service capable of accommodating dietary needs while ensuring strict adherence to the event schedule.
Strict Hygiene and Special Conditions
Bidders must comply with stringent operational conditions outlined in the RFQ. Key requirements include:
- Bottled water must strictly comply with SANBWA standards.
- Sufficient cutlery, crockery, and serviettes must be provided.
- Serving stations must remain clean, sanitized, and well-presented.
- Appropriate staff must be deployed for safe, hygienic meal production and serving.
- The provider must use dedicated bins and remove all generated waste post-service.
Mandatory Compliance and Administration
Bidders must ensure full administrative compliance, including valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration and tax clearance. Proposals will be evaluated based on functional requirements and local economic development goals.
