The South African State Theatre (SAST) has re-issued a Request for Quotation (SAST/RFQ/2026/474/re-issue) for the supply and delivery of alcohol. This procurement initiative supports the operational and hospitality requirements of the premier performing arts institution in Pretoria, Gauteng.
Scope of Supply and Hospitality Support
The appointed service provider will supply and deliver a comprehensive range of alcoholic beverages to the State Theatre. Consistent availability and high-quality products are essential to support the venue’s events, productions, and daily hospitality operations.
Mandatory Statutory and Administrative Compliance
Strict adherence to administrative requirements is non-negotiable. Bidders who fail to comply with the mandatory documentation will be immediately disqualified. Required submissions include:
- Fully completed SBD1 (Invitation to Bid)
- Fully completed SBD4 (Bidder’s Disclosure)
- Fully completed SBD6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form – page 5 of 7)
- Completed POPIA Consent Form
- Signed General Conditions of Contract (all pages initialled and signed on last page)
- CSD Report (proof of registration on Central Supplier Database)
- Valid SARS Tax PIN Certificate
- Valid B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit (for EME or QSE)
- Certified Share Certificate
- CIPC Company Registration Documents
- Certified ID Copies of all directors listed on CIPC
- Valid Liquor License registered to the bidding entity (mandatory)
