Air Traffic and Navigation Services Company Limited (ATNS) has issued a Request for Bid (ATNS/RFP16/06/2026/27/FAGG_ELEC_MAINTENANCE) for the electrical maintenance of remote sites at George Airport. This strategic five-year contract targets qualified electrical contractors to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical air navigation infrastructure in the Western Cape.
Scope of Works and Contract Duration
The appointed service provider will execute electrical maintenance on an as-and-when-required basis over a 60-month period. The scope focuses on remote sites, demanding rapid response times and specialized technical expertise to safeguard ATNS operational continuity.

Mandatory Requirements
Bidders must submit:
- Minimum of three contactable reference letters for completed electrical maintenance services (within the past 5 years)
- Proof of COIDA compliance (Letter of Good Standing) or Registered Mutual Association Policy Insurance
- CIDB registration with grading of 3EB or higher
- Proof of registration (Electrical Wireman’s License) issued by the Department of Employment and Labour
- Proof of local presence within the Garden Route District (municipal account, lease agreement, or MoU with a locally based partner)
