Ekurhuleni Housing Company (EHC) invites qualified audiovisual technicians to submit quotations for DSTV service and repairs at Chris Hani Village. This Request for Quotation (RFQ EHC/06/DSTV/2026) targets the maintenance and optimization of communal satellite infrastructure across 11 residential blocks in Germiston, ensuring reliable entertainment services for tenants.
Scope of Works and Technical Requirements
The appointed service provider will execute comprehensive satellite system repairs, including:
- Replacing LNBs and multi-switches with communal-grade equipment
- Relocating dishes and optimizing signal strength
- Running new cabling and sorting existing wiring inside distribution boxes
- Replacing faulty F-connectors with secure, anti-loose alternatives
Mandatory Compliance and Financial Criteria
Bidders must demonstrate financial capability by submitting the latest three months of bank statements showing positive cash flow or an overdraft facility. Additional mandatory returnables include a valid Tax PIN, a Central Supplier Database (CSD) report, and a bank letter not older than three months.
