The appointed provider will supply quality-assured relief items on an “as-and-when-required” basis. Specifications include:

Proposals are assessed using the 80/20 preference point system under Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022. Price accounts for 80 points; specific goals including B-BBEE status and locality preference contribute 20 points. Only firm prices are accepted; non-firm pricing will be disqualified.
Contract Duration and Pricing Terms
The contract spans three years from appointment date. Price escalation is permissible from year two, calculated annually based on the average Consumer Price Index (CPI) of each completed contract year. All quotations must remain valid for 120 days from the closing date.
