Suppliers must quote for A4 photocopy paper meeting precise standards:

  • Size: 210 x 297mm
  • Weight: 80g/m²
  • Pack quantity: 500 sheets per pack
  • Whiteness: 160CIE white sheets
  • All prices must include VAT and delivery costs to municipal stores

Pricing Structure and Contract Terms

Bidders must submit firm pricing for year one, with a permitted annual escalation of 6% applicable from 1 July each subsequent year. Payments will be processed only after verified delivery. The municipality reserves the right not to accept the lowest bid and may partially award contracts based on value and compliance.

Submission Guidelines and Delivery

Sealed bids marked “TN020/2026: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF PHOTOCOPY PAPER TO DAWID KRUIPER MUNICIPALITY” must be deposited in the municipal tender box at the Civic Centre, Mutual Street, Upington, 8800. Electronic, faxed, or late submissions will not be considered. Delivery will be to Dawid Kruiper Municipality Stores, 3-5 Vooruit Street, Upington, within two weeks of order placement.

Evaluation and Compliance Framework

  • The bid document must be completed and returned without any alteration, modification, deletion, editing, or formatting – any incomplete, altered, or edited document will not be considered
  • Bids per fax or email will not be accepted – only the original signed document will be accepted
  • The lowest or only bid will not necessarily be accepted
  • The following forms must be completed: Summary of items and bid price, MBD 1, MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 7.1, MBD 8, and MBD 9
  • Bidders must be registered on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and proof must be submitted
