Tender Overview and Scope

The contract encompasses the end-to-end production and delivery of specialized uniforms for park rangers, including service wear, field gear, traffic law enforcement attire, and occupational footwear. Successful bidders will support SANParks’ operational readiness while adhering to strict quality, durability, and branding standards.

Uniform Categories and Specifications

Bidders may tender for one or more categories:

  • Category 1: Service/Field Uniforms in Green and Camouflage patterns
  • Category 2: Traffic Law Enforcement uniforms in Traffic Bronze and Biscuit
  • Category 3: Occupational and safety footwear for diverse field conditions

Proposals must include completed SBD forms, CSD registration, B-BBEE certification, company profiles, reference letters, manufacturing capacity proof, and personnel CVs. All documentation must align with SANParks’ Preferential Procurement Regulations and GCC 2015.

Evaluation Criteria and Scoring

Bids undergo a two-phase evaluation: functionality scoring (minimum 80/100) assessing experience, capacity, and methodology; followed by price and specific goals evaluation using the 90/10 preference point system.
