South African National Parks (SANParks) has issued Tender GNP-111-25, seeking a qualified service provider for the supply and delivery of linen to Golden Gate Highlands National Park in the Free State. This three-year contract covers hotel, chalet, banqueting, and food and beverage linen requirements, including towels, sheets, duvet covers, tablecloths, and specialised items.
Eligibility and Compliance Requirements
- Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD)
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number required
- B-BBEE verification certificate or sworn affidavit mandatory for preference points
- No bids accepted from persons in the service of the state

Evaluation and Preference Points System
- 80/20 preference point system applies (80 points for price, 20 for specific goals)
- Functionality evaluation requires minimum 70 out of 100 points
- Preference points awarded for black ownership, women ownership, and local supplier status
- Proof of claims must accompany submission via CSD reports or certified documentation
Contract Duration and Deliverables
- Contract period: Three (3) years from commencement date
- Supplier responsible for timely delivery, quality assurance, and stock management
- Prices must remain firm for 180 days post-closing; annual CPI-based adjustments thereafter
- Monthly reporting and performance monitoring required throughout contract term
