This fully funded 12-month initiative empowers unemployed medical doctors and community service completers to launch and scale sustainable private healthcare practices.

Programme Overview and Strategic Partnership

The programme bridges the gap between clinical excellence and business mastery, equipping 30 selected medical professionals with entrepreneurial skills. Participants gain practical training in business design, medical billing systems, HPCSA compliance guidance, social capital development, partnerships, and Practice 4IR (digital health innovation). The curriculum is specifically tailored for healthcare professionals transitioning into private practice.

  • Unemployed medical doctors
  • Doctors completing community service
  • Medical professionals transitioning into private practice

Preference will be given to candidates intending to establish practices in underserved rural or township areas, addressing critical healthcare access gaps in South Africa.
