The Special Investigation Unit (SIU) has issued Request for Quotation RFQ 098 2026/27 for the provision of catering services at its North West Provincial Office in Mafikeng. This targeted procurement seeks capable local catering enterprises to facilitate a high-level official function.
Scope of Works and Event Support
The successful caterer must provide refreshments for 45 delegates, comprising:
- Meaty and sandwich platters for 45 delegates
- Soft drinks (assorted flavors) for 24 delegates
- 100% juices (assorted flavors) for 21 delegates
- 500ml still water for 45 delegates
The service must be delivered at the specified address on 28 August 2026, with full setup and service management included.
Mandatory Documents and Administrative Compliance
Bidders must submit the following documents with their quotation:
- National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) Summary report (tax compliant)
- CIPC Company Registration certificate
- SARS Tax Compliance PIN
- B-BBEE Certificate or Sworn Affidavit (for preference points)
- Fully completed and signed RFQ document including SBD4 and SBD6.1
- Certified ID copies of all company directors
Failure to submit any of these will result in disqualification.
Strict Electronic Submission Protocols
In strict alignment with the SIU’s secure procurement policies, all quotations must be emailed exclusively to rfq@siu.org.za. The email subject line must clearly state the RFQ number. Hard copies, faxed, or late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.
