Scope of Work
The event is scheduled for 19 August 2026 at 12:00 pm for 100 delegates . The required lunch menu includes two starch options, two meats (roasted chicken and lamb/beef), two salads, two vegetables, bottled water, and a variety of soft drinks or fruit juice. The catering company must provide its own equipment and remove all waste after the event .
Mandatory and Administrative Requirements
Bidders must comply with strict documentation requirements. Failure to submit the following will lead to disqualification:
- Signed and completed SBD 1, SBD 4, and SBD 6.1 forms
- POPIA consent form
- Valid B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit
- Full CSD report with SARS Tax Compliance Status
- Valid certificate of municipality for acceptability of food premises within Northern Cape only
Evaluation and Preference Points
The 80/20 preference point system will apply, with 80 points allocated for price and up to 20 points for specific goals including:
- 100% Black ownership (8 points)
- 100% women ownership (4 points)
- 100% youth ownership (4 points)
- 20% or more disability ownership (4 points)
Bidders must submit copies of IDs, a 3-month CIPC report, and a CSD report as evidence.
