This strategic three-year contract, running until 30 June 2029, targets experienced service providers capable of supplying, delivering, and installing essential hygiene equipment and consumables to maintain high public health standards.
Tender Overview and Scope of Services
The successful bidder will manage hygiene needs across numerous municipal buildings, sports grounds, and public facilities. The comprehensive scope includes:
- Supply and installation of sanitary bins, soap and paper dispensers, and toilet roll holders.
- Provision of wall bins, urinal sanitizers, and auto-sanitizers.
- Execution of scheduled deep cleans across all designated municipal sites.
Mandatory Compliance and Locality Goals
Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD). The tender utilizes an 80/20 preferential procurement system. Notably, specific preference points are allocated for businesses with premises situated within the Stellenbosch Municipality boundaries (WC024), strongly promoting local economic development.
Compulsory Clarification Meeting
Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid briefing is strictly required. Tenderers who fail to attend will be deemed non-compliant and automatically disqualified from the evaluation process.
