Tender Overview
SAFCOL requires a service provider to transport pine sawlogs from Thate Vondo Plantation to external clients. The contract is volume-based with a lead distance of up to 70 kilometres, covering shorthaul, direct-to-mill, longhaul, and handling operations. Mandatory Equipment Requirements

- Valid ENATIS RC1/LCO documentation or certified proof of purchase for all equipment

- Fully completed and signed RFQ on company letterhead
- Valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or certificate
- SANAS-accredited B-BBEE certificate or sworn affidavit for EME/QSE
- Central Supplier Database (CSD) report or MAAA registration number
- Certified ID copies of all company directors
Evaluation Criteria
Proposals undergo three-phase evaluation: administrative compliance, mandatory equipment verification, and price plus specific goals assessment. The 80/20 preferential procurement system applies, with 20 points allocated to specific goals including 51% black ownership and 51% black women ownership criteria.
