Mandatory Certifications & Company Experience (Disqualification if not met)

  • Certificate of Acceptability (CoA) for basic food safety and hygiene issued by Ehlanzeni District Municipality or equivalent – must be in the name of the business director or culinary leader responsible for execution
  • Project Leader Qualification: Diploma in food handling and preparation or higher + minimum 3 years’ relevant experience + certified ID copy + comprehensive CV. If current employment differs from bidding entity, a consent letter must accompany.
  • Company Experience: At least two certified appointment letters / purchase orders with certified reference letters for:
    • Catering services (200+ people)
    • Provision of audio systems
      Note: An event management project that includes both catering and audio services counts as a two-in-one, but catering experience still requires minimum two proofs.

  • CSD full registration report (NOT summary report, not older than 30 days from closing date)
