Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) has issued a Request for Quotation (RQ-110731) for the supply and delivery of office stationery to its offices in Pretoria. This is a once-off procurement of a wide range of everyday office consumables.

Tender Overview

  • Post-It Flag (11.9mm x 43.2mm) – 200 units (see picture attached)
  • Whiteboard Marker Black (medium bullet tip 2mm, dry wipe) – 150 units
  • Whiteboard Marker Red (medium bullet tip 2mm, dry wipe) – 150 units
  • Post-It pad note – 250 units (see picture attached)
  • Highlighter Orange – 130 units
  • Pencil H – 1,500 units
  • Highlighter Light Green – 120 units
  • Paper Clip small coloured – 100 boxes

Mandatory Submission Documents

  • Quotation on company letterhead with: quotation reference number, validity period, delivery period, CSD Master registration number (MAAA), tax compliance status PIN, VAT registration number (if registered)
  • Completed and signed SBD 4 (Declaration of Interest) – failure may result in disqualification
  • Completed and signed SBD 6.1 (Preference Points Claim Form)
  • E-filing copy of valid Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Certified copy of ID document
  • Original or certified copy of company registration (CIPC)

Evaluation Criteria (80/20 System)

  • Price (80 points): Lowest acceptable bid receives 80 points; others scored proportionally
  • Specific Goals (20 points): As per table above – points claimed based on percentage equity ownership by the relevant category

General Conditions

  • Quotes must be firm for the duration of the order – prices dependent on exchange rate must factor in escalations
  • Stats SA not bound to accept lowest or any quote; reserves right to award in part or not award
  • Stats SA may request additional information within a specified timeframe – non-compliance may render quote non-responsive
  • Market-related prices will be negotiated with preferred service provider
