The Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) is hosting a free, full-day virtual masterclass on Construction Law and Contracts on Friday, 27 March 2026, from 09:00 to 16:00, streamed live on YouTube. Designed to empower contractors—especially women-led businesses—with critical legal knowledge, this session will demystify the complex legal landscape of construction projects and equip participants with tools to protect and grow their enterprises.

This masterclass is part of CIDB’s ongoing commitment to building capacity within the construction sector, particularly among historically disadvantaged and emerging contractors. Hosted in partnership with WMN Attorneys Inc. and the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP), the event blends legal expertise with practical industry insight to address one of the most common causes of business failure in construction: poorly understood or mismanaged contracts.
