Eskom, through the Eskom Development Foundation (ESDEF), is set to host its SMME Business Connect Supplier Development Convention in the Northern Cape. This two-day event will take place on 21–22 October 2025 at the Boontjieskraal Incubation & Conference Centre in Kimberley, offering local entrepreneurs a rare opportunity to connect with Eskom and other large corporates, while gaining valuable insights from industry experts.

The Business Connect programme is designed to support sustainable supplier development by giving Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) access to new business opportunities. The Kimberley convention will focus on strengthening local supply chains and equipping SMMEs with knowledge to thrive in a competitive market.
